Why the Wonder Chair works
The Wonder Chair delivers high-intensity focused electromagnetic energy (HIFEM) to deeply stimulate pelvic floor muscles — creating thousands of supramaximal contractions in a single session. These are stronger and more effective than what you can achieve through voluntary exercise alone.
You’ll sit comfortably (fully clothed) while the chair works. It’s fast, painless, and effective — perfect for busy lives and sensitive issues.
FAQ
What is the wonder chair?
The Wonder Chair is a non-invasive device that uses focused electromagnetic energy (HIFEM) to stimulate thousands of deep pelvic floor contractions during a single session — far more powerful than standard exercises.
What does it feel like?
You’ll feel a series of strong but painless muscle contractions while seated comfortably (fully clothed). Most clients describe the feeling as unusual but not uncomfortable — many read or relax during treatment.
How many sessions do I need?
We typically recommend a course of 6 sessions over 3 weeks for best results, followed by maintenance sessions as needed. A personalised plan will be discussed during your consultation.
Is it only for women?
Not at all. Pelvic floor dysfunction affects both men and women. The Wonder Chair supports recovery and performance for men dealing with post-prostate surgery incontinence or sexual dysfunction, as well as general muscle weakness.
Is it safe after childbirth?
Yes. Once your postnatal clearance is given by your doctor (usually after 6–8 weeks), the Wonder Chair is an excellent option to restore pelvic floor strength, reduce bladder leaks, and prevent prolapse.
How quickly will I notice results?
Many clients notice improvements in bladder control, core engagement, or sexual response within just a few sessions, with continued progress throughout the full treatment plan.
Is there any downtime?
None at all. You can return to work, gym, or parenting immediately after your session.
*Clinical results of all The Body Clinic treatments may vary depending on many factors including, but not limited to medical history, an individual’s response to treatment, patient compliance with pre and post treatment instructions or changes in medical condition prior to, during or after treatment has been completed. Results may also vary with different tissue structure, treatment area, age, metabolism, medications, and changes in hormones. Completion of a full treatment series is necessary to maximise treatment efficacy and while most patients get excellent results, each patient is different and there is no guarantee as to the success or duration of success that clients may experience. Results of treatments may be improved with proper diet, and increased physical activity.
